Get Ready For The Grind!

I love me some Qunetin Tarantino, anyone who knows me knows this. I have a tattoo of his "Band Apart" production logo on my arm, so there is no denying my love for what he does.

I love me some Robert Rodriguez, the man just loves films and his range is pretty amazing, from one of the bloodiest most violent films I have seen Sin City to some damn fun kids movies Spy Kids. Rodriguez has also written one of the best films about film making, Rebel Without A Crew.

Tarantino and Rodriguez have been friends since the beginning, their first collaboration was the fun (Tarantino penned and Rodriguez helmed) From Dusk 'TIl Dawn. Rodriguez scored Tarantino's Kill Bill and in return Tarantino directed a scene in Sin City (no I am not going to tell you what that scene is, it's fun to try to figure it out).

Now they are both writing and directing the same film, Grindhouse! Oh baby, this is the one I have been waiting for, each of them have written and directed a full length feature film and it is being released as a double feature. And...if you needed more incentive...they each have made a trailer for a fictitious film which will be played before each of their films (if Grindhouse is a success then they just very well make the next one based on the trailers they created).

Rodriguez's film is called Planet Terror and Tarantino's is Death Proof. Now here is the official trailer for Grindhouse. Enjoy and be humbled by all it's greatness. Happy Christmas
