Portlanders, Be Proud! Aaron Duran
Just heard from Michael, the owner of the fantastic Bridge City Comics (NoPo’s finest comic book store. Email me if you want to know the best on the East and West side). Anyway, as everyone knows, Bridge City Comics co-sponsored the first Portland showing of the Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation. Ticket sales went to the Austin Miller Scholarship Fund, a wonderful fund for young filmmakers.
Portland, you helped raise $9,627 for the scholarship. That will provide 24 scholarships for the Project Youth Doc program. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… Portland is the greatest F’ing city in these here United States.
