Not mere minutes after the premiere of Cloverfield, Paramount and JJ Abrams pushed ahead at Full Impulse Power with Star Trek XI. Now, anyone who frequents this site knows I've been wary, to say the least, about this newest incarnation of my favorite film / TV franchise. While I am still a tad nervous, I'd be lying if I said that awesome Star Trek Teaser didn't get me all giddy with Trekkie glee! Well, it would seem Paramount approved of said giddiness, as such... Your friendly neighborhood Geek is Portland's official Star Trek XI Affiliate! W00t!
Yes, that means Paramount is going to get free advertising out of this site. So what, this is Star Trek people! (And they would have anyway, cause I'm a Trek Geek). Star Trek so desperately wants and deserves to reclaim the mantle stolen by the likes of Whedon* and Lucas.
