A Return to Fun Pop!

Aaron Duran

The Wonderstrucks have landed! I’ve known about this project for a good long while now and it was with great excitement that I could finally talk about it! I am very proud to call all those involved with this fantastic EP my friends. The Wonderstrucks, inspired by the Rick Emerson one-man show, Bigger than Jesus: The Diary of a Rock and Roll Fan, is a true return to pop music. The type of music you simply can’t find anymore. Music that reminds you what it was like when you first cruised down main street in your small hometown as the cool night air danced across your face.

I’ve listened to this EP many times in the week since it landed in my Geeky hands. Yes, perhaps I am biased, but I can honestly say that I’ve enjoy each and every song. As the cliché goes, it has a good beat and you can dance to it. On a personal note, I wanted to thank The Wonderstrucks for including the highly personal song, Geek Like Me, on their EP. First sang at mine and Jenn’s wedding reception, it still brings tears to my eyes.

Check out The Wonderstrucks - An American Education. I promise, you’re gonna’ yea-yea-yea, whoa-whoa-whoa, and clap-clap-clap till the wee morning hours!
