Chapter 8 - Fun With Podcasting! Aaron Duran
I just wanted a good excuse to use that title. As evidenced by the constant flow of e-mails I receive, I know that mugs are still entering the doors of Entercom Portland. I want to thank everyone again for all their hard work and effort. A campaign such as the Coffee Cup Crusade has never before been done for a radio program. It makes me happy to see Geeks standing up for what they enjoy!
Although most of you heard the broadcast on Friday, I wanted to present some of the quotes Leykis said on the air regarding YOUR actions…
"Portland listeners have set a new standard for loyalty".
"If Entercom management could see the listener reaction, they'd undo this decision".
This is all is because YOU, the FANS have worked long and hard to have your voices heard. We are getting through. Have faith and keep fighting (nicely). Also, make sure you get your daily news from the West Side Office of Tim Riley Media… A daily broadcast NOT to be missed.
