GEEK CHECK!!!
Comic Con Report - The Third KaraokeFanboy
With the hubbub surrounding Marvel's booth today, you'd think they were really unveiling a highly advanced suit of armor, but it was only a standing model of the classic Iron Man suit Robert Downey, Jr. dons in the first act of the upcoming Jon Favereu helmed film. In the hustle, these are the only images I could acquire, a little fuzzy but ironically focused in its coherency with the source material!
Also, during the Simpsons panel this (Saturday) morning, Matt Groening revealed that 16 new Futurama episodes will be produced in a wide screen format. A straight to DVD Futurama film is scheduled for release at Christmastime. Yeardley Smith, the voice actor for Lisa Simpson, was also in attendance and shared that, when Lisa became a vegetarian, that episode's guest star Paul McCartney stipulated that she remain so for the rest of the series.

Also, the panel revealed that the Back to the Future ride at Universal Studios in Hollywood will be replaced by a Simpsons ride, in which Sideshow Bob may or may not be the villain. Just as the show mocks pop culture and the comic parodies other comics, the ride will satirize other rides!
Mattel unveiled a model for a new He-Man action figure, replicating the originals appearance with a more modern sculpt and point of articulation, but the Masters of the Universe DVD release panel, featuring the Four Horsemen sculpting team and top brass from Mattel's business and marketing departments, was incredibly uninformative. The Masters franchise, including the long-rumored live action film, is "in development."
(Yea. He-Man no longer looks constipated. - AD)
Also, just for Aaron's sake, I've heard that Marina Sertis, Levar Burton, and Wil Wheaton are all in attendance, but I haven't seen them personally yet. (If you see Marina, ask if she still goes to these cons "Commando"... Long story, maybe you shouldn't ask. - AD) I did see Ernie Hudson, who is charging $20 for a picture with him. In the lifespan of his career, dogs and cats are definitely living together.
