GET OUT OF THE BASEMENT
Deck the Halls… Aaron Duran
...With boughs of entrails. Chop-chop-chop-chop...Chop-Slice, Slice-Slice...Chop!
Yea, that was cheesy and stupid. What can you do? I’m a sucker for such things. Why did I open with a terrible "song" lyric? Simple, my fine Geek in the City reader... Dan Halstead is back and he’s covered in Yuletide blood! Yup, it is time for the traditional screening of that 1984 classic: Silent Night, Deadly Night! Banned and pulled from theaters during the initial release; Dan with Portland Grindhouse dug up a glorious 35mm print for screening at… Where else? That grand 'ol lady, The Hollywood Theatre. So, if you need a release from all that sugar and screaming kids... Come watch Santa punish all the naughty girls and boys...With bloody axe death! (And the best [worst?] of 80s bobbies).
Tickets are just $6.00 at the door (3.00 bucks if you come dressed as Santa). Show starts at 9:30 pm, like always, you better get their early.
Oh yea, and like the previous year, Dan is giving away a gorgeous and fresh axe to one lucky winner. Nothing says Merry Christmas like a new axe!
Naughty-Naughty-Naughty! See you all there!
