THE COFFEE CUP CRUSADE
Epilogue Aaron Duran
Never thought I would ever make a posting within this section again... Fear not intrepid reader, it isn't bad news. (Um, actually, like Vader "killing" Anakin, I guess this has to do with ones point of view)...
Anyway... Having received this interesting (and sad) inter-office memo from a source that obviously cannot be named; I felt it was time to bring the Coffee Cup Crusade out for one final posting... It is tough for me to have to inform you all that as of tomorrow, we will be broadcasting KISN without the incomparable EDITED and EDITED* live on air. KISN, as we know it, will remain on the air but without our favorite KISN Good Guys spinnin the Oldies.
This was an extremely difficult decision particularly because of how hard EDITED and EDITED have worked to make this station vibrant and alive in an advertising world that is increasingly no longer embracing the oldies format. Unfortunately, we just couldn't find a way to keep the station from losing money. We are eternally grateful for everything EDITED has done as a one man band to so energetically keep this station vibrant and successful along with EDITED amazing talent and hard work, EDITED tireless sales efforts, EDITED tremendous promotional support with EDITED wonderful help, and everyone else who touched KISN in an effort to make it succeed financially.
I can only wish the opportunity presents itself to bring them back to Entercom in some future capacity, as it has in the past. Until then, we wish EDITED and EDITED all of the very best and sincerely thank them for their amazing talent, contributions, hard work, energy, fun, and results. They will be greatly missed. EDITED last day on the air is today, and EDITED will be around for the remainder of the week to wrap things up.
We'll be honoring and thanking EDITED and EDITED for their many contributions over the years to both KISN and Entercom this Friday at 4pm in the Training Room - please be sure to stop by to wish them well. E.

Entercom Radio

Maybe if they had a “tiny” and “disposable” audience, they would still be on the air... I know, I shouldn't gloat... But dang it, we Geeks and true believers get so few moments... So... Gonna' take it!!!
And please, while we may be tempted to send Erin taunting emails... We should probably be gracious winners... At least publicly... Feel free to tell all your friends and toss back multiple liver destroying substances in victory!
* Yea, you can probably figure out who these on-air talents are. However, as stated before, it isn't their fault and I wouldn't want to ruin any potential chances of them finding employment... Just as it was in the past, the Coffee Cup Crusde shall remain civil.
** Um, except when it comes to her. Erin is the public face of Entercom and is fair game!
