Han Solo Flying Again? Aaron Duran
Rumors have reached the Geek Tower that George Lucas approached Harrison Ford to resurrect two iconic roles… Now, everyone knows that Ford is stapling the fedora for one (hopefully) final Indiana Jones role. However, PR-Magazine. magazine out of England is reporting that George Lucas offered Harrison Ford £20 million (about 42 million US dollars). Sources state that when the flannelled one offered Harrison the role: "Harrison was horrified. After that, he was delighted to be playing Indy again. He told George he just couldn't face being stuck in a spaceship with Chewbacca again." Ford will still receive £20 million for donning his famous fedora hat once again and embarking on a final adventure as the whip-cracking character.
I can’t help but wonder why George Lucas is trying to bring Han Solo (and an aged one at that) back to the big or small screen… Does he believe that only the original trilogy characters can save the Star Wars saga? Guess we will never know… For now.
