Hey, What's Going On?! - UPDATE -

We got Slashdotted! (Well, Rename42nd.org got Slashdotted). Many thanks to all that keep spreading the word! You are some rock'n Froods! Hopefully the site won't crash, we've taken the proper steps, but you never know!

Whew, been a week or so since the last update. Remind us to never start a project during the holidays, makes an already Herculean task downright Vogonian. (Promise, we’ll limit the Hitchhikers jokes to one a posting from now on).

Rename42nd.org is moving forward. In the coming, few days we’re going to post some fun apparel and such in order to raise the needed funds for the renaming process (per City Code). We’re also trying to get a straight answer regarding the official petition process. As it stands now, no one knows if we need to raise the money before or after we gather the 2,500 needed signatures. (This just proves how long it has been since anyone followed the actual rules).

Make no mistake; the minute we get the straight story from The City, we will pass it along here!
