Portland Comic Book Show Aaron Duran
If you are looking for a fine and Geeky way to spend your Sunday, make sure you stop at the Memorial Coliseum for the Portland Comic Book Show.
On Sunday, March 5, 2006 Portland plays hosts to a fun lineup of writers, artists, and the usual gang of pop culture fun!
The list of guests includes (but not limited to):
Mike Royer, the man who keeps Jack Kirby’s legend fresh and alive to a whole new group of comic book fans. (As well as his own impressive original work).
Gail Simone, a writer who took some time for me to like, but is quickly becoming one of my favorite writers. Her recent work on Villains United has been nothing short of stellar!
Dark Side Troopers, Portland’s local Star Wars troop will be making a full appearance en masse! Never doubt the power of the Dark Side!!! (Be sure to tell Boba that we Geeks still think he was robbed)!
The list goes on and on... And, in addition to the dealer tables and fine Geek swag; the Portland Comic Book show will also showcase dozens of new and independent publishers. Buy their books now, so you can proudly claim “I knew them when”...
Remember, the Portland Comic Book Show - Sunday, March 5, 2006 10 am - 5 pm. Tickets are $6.00 at the door, at the Memorial Coliseum in the Rose Quarter.
