Grindhouse Film Festival this Saturday in Portland! I know I posted this on Monday... But, I really wanted to make sure you fine Portland film folks get this info! Go. Trust me, you will have a blast!
On Saturday March 24th only at the The Hollywood Theatre, the Grindhouse Film Festival presents a Grindhouse Double Feature, Snake in Eagle's Shadow (at 7:00) and The Beyond (9:00) with a slew of vintage trailers! All in glorious 35mm!
Between movies there will be a special screening of unseen footage from the upcoming Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez film Grindhouse! Also giveaways of Grindhouse promotional materials, and a special giveaway of a Hattori Hanzo samurai sword (just like in KILL BILL). The sword comes courtesy of Hawthorne Cutlery
The print of Snake in Eagle's Shadow is a true rarity. The print of The Beyond is the only unedited print in existence! The movie was heavily censored and chopped upon its initial release.
