So Much Time, So Little To Do Reverse It!

Aaron Duran

It is a full weekend of Geeky goodness here in good ‘ol Portland, OR! Sadly, both events are happening at the same time, so you are going to need to ration your time (and probably money). Still, you are going to want to hit both…

The 4th Annual Faux Film Festival – March 28 to March 30 – The Hollywood Theatre
One of Portland’s favorite film events for four years now and growing every year. Expect the best in fake commercials, film spoofs, trailer spoofs, and live improve comedy events. Each night starts at 7pm and includes two blocks of Faux Film goodness. Tickets are $7 every night, both blocks included in your ticket purchase.

Now, one for my fellow dice tossers and zombie fraggers!

GameStorm 10 – March 28 to March 30 – The Red Lion in Vancouver, WA
Portland / Vancouver’s only true gamer dedicated convention in its tenth year. Convention registration begins Friday at 8am. There are simply too many gaming events to list them all, but a small sample includes official RPGA games, Indie Games (small press game companies), and Protospiel West (test games from local and national game companies and rate how the games play). GameStorm is the perfect place play all your favorite games and maybe be the first to try out a new game. Friday tickets are $15, Saturday is $25, Sunday is $10, or buy a full weekend past for $35. Check out the GameStorm 10 site for full details.

Until next time, may all your rolls be natural 20s!
